If you do feminazi stuff, you are a feminazi…that’s not generalising, is it?

“All men are violent”…that IS generalising.

I’ll admit that “its for the cheeldren” may be more a UK thing than a US one. So, maybe it’s more a sore-point for me than you. I don’t think ‘we’ have quite as strong a VAWA disgrace as ‘you’ (so far), so perhaps that doesn’t piss me off as much as it may you.

try googling “for the cheeldren” (try a few different numbers of ‘e’s) may be you’ll understand.

It’s also odd that one would react to it by appealing to authority (contacting managers and regional directors, etc.) and trying to use complaints and policies that are the very basis of much of what we claim to deplore to try to stop it. In cases like this, fighting fire with fire pretty much just guarantees more fire, if you see what I mean.

Sounds like ‘establishing the facts’ to me. Not really ‘appealing to authority’ at all. I’m more interested in knowing that it’s a B&N policy than some nut-job part-time employee’s pet idea. Then I can make the decision to take my trade elsewhere (though I’ve never seen a B&N in the UK, so not a great threat).

Just raising a stink could just get the cops called on you, the manager can then say that there’s no such policy – you just look like a nutter.
