Bonjour,

Le Programme d’appui aux OSC de biodiversité actives dans les pays en développement (ProBioDev) démarré en février 2024 et mis en oeuvre par le Comité français de l'UICN lance un appel à projets.

Lancé le 9 avril, cet appel va permettre le financement et la mise en oeuvre d'une dizaine de projets de protection de la nature portés par des partenariats de la société civile (composés à la fois d'une OSC française et d'une OSC locale). Seuls les projets mis en oeuvre dans un pays éligible à l'aide publique au développement selon la liste établie par le CAD de l'OCDE sont éligibles à cet appel (avec une priorité donnée au continent Africain).

Les thématiques financées sont la conservation de la biodiversité et les Solutions fondées sur la Nature (SfN) en faveur de l'atténuation et de l'adaptation aux changements climatiques.

Le montant des subventions est compris entre 100 000 € et 250 000 € représentant au maximum 90% du budget total par projet. La durée des subventions est de 24 mois maximum.

ProBioDev a comme objectif d’améliorer l’état de la biodiversité dans les pays en développement grâce à l’action de la société civile et au renforcement des capacités et partenariats des OSC. Ce programme est soutenu par un ensemble de bailleurs engagés dont l'Agence française de développement, l'Office français de la biodiversité, la Fondation Audemars Piguet pour les Arbres, la Fondation de France, la Fondation Manthano, la Fondation Egis et Maisons du Monde Foundation.

Les OSC susceptibles de répondre à cet appel à projets sont invitées à manifester leur intérêt dès que possible et avant la date de clôture en envoyant un email à probiodev@uicn.fr.

Dear partners,

The Support Program for biodiversity Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) active in developing countries (ProBioDev), initiated in February 2024 and implemented by the IUCN French Committee, is launching a call for proposals.

Launched on 9th April, this call will enable the funding and implementation of approximately ten projects led by civil society partnerships (comprising both a French CSO and a local CSO) with a focus on nature conservation. Only projects implemented in countries eligible for official development assistance (ODA) according to the list established by the OECD DAC are eligible for consideration (with a priority given to Africa).

Eligible project themes include biodiversity conservation and Nature-based Solutions (NbS) for addressing climate change mitigation and adaptation.

The grant amounts range from €100,000 to €250,000, representing a maximum of 90% of the total project budget. The duration of grants is a maximum of 24 months.

Deadline for proposals submissions: Sunday, May 26th, 2024 – 11:59 PM (CEST)

The grant initiative is supported by a coalition of engaged donors, including the French Development Agency, the French Biodiversity Agency (OFB), the Foundation Audemars Piguet for Trees, the Fondation de France, the Manthano Foundation, the Egis Foundation, the French Biodiversity Agency (OFB) and Maisons du Monde Foundation.

CSOs interested in responding to this call for proposals are invited to express their interest as soon as possible and before the deadline by sending an email to probiodev@uicn.fr.
