A few weeks later I saw Cheyrl at the gym and said hi. She was using one of the machines. Feeling in the zone, I used some cocky-funny and busted on her for not using a lot of weight. I offered to up the poundage. She was responding well and laughing. She suggested that we hang out again. I took that as a sign that the cocky-funny worked well. I told her I would email her.
Wanting to appear non-needy, I decided to do things differently this time. I emailed her a few weeks later and suggested we watch a movie. She wrote back saying she was up for it and gave me her number. I called and left a message, basically saying that I had a movie picked out and if she wasn't too scared of watching a good action movie we can go see it. She never responded. I guess I went too far with that message and over-compensated the non-needy thing. Basically, I went overboard with the cocky-funny, probably because it seemed to work so well with getting her re-attracted the first time.
Looking back, that message must have sounded a bit dumb and rude. I never heard from her again.
