@’735 Spwany, seems to me there is a fair amount of mgtow “hate” going around the man-o-sphere. I reckon it’s up to a man to decided his own way, and that generally it’s for a season not a life. Which also makes perfect sense when you think about it. Even Vox fails to mention any incentives for men not to go their own way or to opt back in. Part of me thinks it is fear, fear no one will be around to pick up their slack, fear of who will tend to their daughters etc.
Most of the men I know living something like the Sovereign Man concept are middle class, lower.class White men who have some hobby as their primary focus. They’d never use the term but nothing will.get between them and bow hunting or what have you.
Personally, I don’t speak of the reward portion of marriage 2.0 risk/ reward factor because I am unsure their is any reward. There damn sure isn’t a reward that cannot be taken from you in an instant at the whim of a woman. And we know they are fickle creatures. I have a good relationship with my son, a tenuous one with my daughter where the roi is decreasing rapidly and yet still better off then many men I know who wives did a better job of parental alienation.
I could have hired/ rented a womb for air less then I paid in divorce, child support and alimony. That doesn’t include the mental/ emotional and physical anguish. So to answer the question was my marriage worth it? My answer is not really. Daughters are women and rarely worth the investment. Sons can be had for cheaper then wives, alimony, child support etc, not inculding the uncountable costs of marriage.
@ 746 BB, is that fancy guy talk for spinning plates, with some trip points thrown in for dropping the plate and slowly invest more into th plate that pleases you the most?
