I had met a lot of the people previously at the Pig ‘n’ Whistle in Brisbane (see Take2 : Bachelor Number Ten – The Sleepover), and they were very keen to talk to me and grill me on how it was going between the two of us. One girl, let’s call her “Joss”, even pulled me aside to tell me how glad she was that Bachelor Number Ten had found ‘someone like me’ and that she really hoped that it worked out between us. It was a fantastic night, and I was extremely happy to say the least.

There was a consensus that we should head out to the Valley, so we headed out in taxis – the problem was that some people had gone to one venue, and some had gone to another. So my taxi-load, 8 of us including Bachelor Number Ten and Joss, were standing on a corner wondering where to go. I looked up and saw we were under The Sky Room – one of my favourite cocktail bars in Brisbane, so I told everyone we would go upstairs and have French martinis and work it out up there.

I bought a round of drinks whilst we sorted it out via text message, and after twenty minutes headed to the appropriate venue… to find that the others were just leaving. “We need McDonalds ” was all Andy said. Sitting in the middle of the mall, I started chatting to a young (smoking hot) girl who was shivering in the cold. Her name was Jordan and she had just come from an 18th birthday. So I offered her half of my cardigan whilst we chatted, and then I introduced her to Tom, and got them talking, then moved out of the way and told Tom to keep her warm. (I am an awesome wingman)

Andy said he wanted to be next, so I lined up the next target – a lesbian couple enjoying a kebab (I totally want to say they were eating tacos, but that would be a lie). Needless to say we had a lot of fun, despite the fact that we had in fact spent about $120 on taxis to go into the Valley for one drink and some McDonalds . Standing in the taxi line to go home, Joss was complaining about the cold, so I was giving her a hug. Bachelor Number Ten decided it was time for a group hug… and half way through undid Joss’s bra with one hand.
