“Time moves slow, and I’m wondering where did you go?” Mighty Mighty Bosstones

So, Bachelor Number Eighteen was quite a mystery after our first date. He didn’t go in for the kiss when he dropped me home, and whilst I sent him a text or two after our date (one to thank him, one to suggest we do it again), he never responded.

Or so I thought.

I got a message on the dating site from him early in the New Year, asking why I hadn’t responded to his text messages. I was confused. And probably wouldn’t have believed him except that Bachelor Number Fourteen was asking me the same question.

Anyway, we reconnected and started chatting again. Turns out we had both sent a couple of texts, received no response, and given up. But he saw that I had been looking at his profile one day when I was doing a cull of contacts and he decided to bite the bullet and just check.

Our banter was good. He spoke of wishing that he had kissed me on our first date. I said I wished he had too. It somehow descended into text sex. Not sure how it happened, but it did.
